E.U. PASSPORT - CYPRUS REDUCES INVESTMENT THRESHOLDS FOR GRANTING NATIONALITY
The Council of Ministers decision dated 13th of September 2016 laid the reduced economic criteria by which Cyprus/E.U. Citizenship can be acquired by foreign investors. The focus remains in providing further incentives to attract foreign investment into the island and induce high net worth individuals to relocate. Given the attractive taxation system, coupled with the reduced thresholds for opting for citizenship, the Cyprus citizenship package becomes the most attractive within the European Union.

Antonis Zenios Developments Ltd participated at the conference ‘Real Estate- The Chinese Connection with Cyprus’, co- organised by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Cyprus- China Business Association.
The conference, highlighted the solid and strong relations between Cyprus and China, and the huge potential for further cooperation in the field of real estate. The visit lasted four days between 1st and 4th March 2009; the head of the official visit was Mr. Antonis Paschalides, the Minister of Commerce and the participants were representatives from twenty Cypriot companies including Property Development companies.
